From July 3 to 6, 2025 Rudolstadt will once again be transformed into a center for folk, roots and world music. The Rudolstadt Festival is one of the largest and most renowned festivals of its kind in Europe and attracts up to 25,000 visitors a day.

In the midst of this lively hustle and bustle you will find the publishing house of the minstrels in the instrument making center. There we present a selection of sheet music, textbooks and specialist literature on traditional music. Whether you are interested in bagpipes, nyckelharpa or diatonic accordion – here you can talk shop, browse and be inspired.

The Instrument Making Center is a popular meeting place for musicians, instrument makers and anyone who is passionate about handmade sounds. Here you can not only discover instruments, but also talk directly to the makers.

We look forward to meeting you in Rudolstadt and celebrating the diversity of traditional music together!
