From August 22 – 24, 2025 you will find Johannes Just in Schluderns (IT) at the South Tyrolean Knights’ Games.

He gives bagpipe workshops for beginners and advanced players – the perfect way to experience the fascination of this instrument at first hand.

👉 In addition to the workshops, he will also be bringing along books and teaching materials from the Spielleute publishing house.
So you can immerse yourself in the world of drone music right on the spot and stock up on sheet music and exciting publications.

The Spielleute publishing house will have a stand at the Lißberger Leiertage 2025 – with teaching materials, sheet music and everything to do with playing, learning and passing on traditional music.

The event at a glance:
From May 28 to June 1, 2025, hurdy-gurdy players of all levels will meet in Lißberg for an intensive weekend with:

8 different courses for hurdy-gurdy (beginners to advanced)
1 ensemble course for accompanying persons (Thu & Fri)
Evening program with small concerts, sessions and discussions
free guided tour of the Musical Instrument Museum
Camping on the grounds of the castle ruins
Exchange ideas in a relaxed and open atmosphere
